These day courses are great for those who want a basic lesson in the kitchen but don’t have the time for our week long course.

Full Day 9am – 5pm (lunch included)

Vegetarian and dietary requirements can be catered for on request

Product Description

Our Basic Cooking Days are ideal for those who want to learn some basic kitchen skills. By the end of this half day or day course you will have prepared a full two course meal and multiple other dishes all with the help of our experienced and knowledgeable chefs.

These days are individual days of our 5 day long Really Useful Course.

Each morning begins with a demonstration showing you how to prepare the dishes you will be cooking. Our chefs will go through a number of tips and tricks of the trade giving you an understanding of each dish and how to cook it alone – although they will be there throughout to offer guidance.

After taking part on one or more of these days you may want to complete a full Extended Course, which runs through a full week, are more intensive and will cover a lot more over a longer period of time.

The Thursday afternoon, will be prepping the food and kitchen for the guests who will join those, who are doing the full weeks class, for dinner – if you would like to join the evening you can pay an additional £45 and with this you are invited to ask a couple of mates/family members along to show off your new found skills!

The dishes cooked will vary depending on the day of the week you choose to attend.  Please contact Sophie if you would like a better idea of what will be learnt on any specific day.
