Welcome back to The Avenue’s Weekly Shenanigans! We finished last week off with the little ones back in the kitchen at our Kids Weekend Cookery Class, they made a delicious chicken pie with Leeks and Carrots. Then on Tuesday our After-School Cookery Class made some tasty Spring Rolls. We really try to get out Younger students to become more adventurous with what they eat and trying new things – no pizza allowed!

On Monday we had our Photographer Giselle in to do a photo-shoot with Diana, Richard and Sophie. We got some great snaps of the family together, so keep a look out for these!

Our Simple Suppers Cookery Class on Wednesday evening went Moroccan. Richard taught the students to made Chicken Patties with Chickpea Salad and a Harissa and Preserved Lemon Relish. They finished the evening off with Poached Pears with Frozen Yoghurt – a delicious Summer Supper!

We rounded the week off with a visit from the lovely Alex and Dan from Le Ski to enjoy some Brownies and a Cup of Tea. We can’t wait for our Chalet Host Cooking Courses to start in July. There’s still a few spaces left if you or someone you know is thinking of doing a ski season. Completing a relevant Cookery Course is a requirement of most Ski Companies – so don’t miss out!

Thankfully we have a relaxing weekend planned. We will be gearing up for the Marlborough and Repton Gap Fairs on Monday – looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and give out some of our Chocolate Brownies!
