It’s #NationalCherryDay and we thought we’d share this super easy and utterly delicious Cherry Sauce Recipe. It is rich, sticky and marries so well with any red meat, especially a juicy duck breast!
Cherry Sauce
Ingredients:
175g good quality cherry jam
150ml red wine
¼ tsp five spice powder
1 cinnamon stick
½ tsp black pepper
Method
Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and simmer until reduced by half. (approx. 10 minutes)
Season to taste.
