It’s getting very festive in The Avenue kitchen- Italian style! These oh dough-delicious dough balls are a little different but a lovely alternative to a mince pie. If you fancy going full Italian why not come to one of our pizza workshops!
Dough Balls
(makes 25)
Ingredients:
250g strong flour
10g coarse semolina
1 sachet easy blend yeast
5g salt
25ml extra virgin olive oil
160ml water
2 tbsp olive oil to drizzle
Method:
Mix in a large bowl flour, semolina, yeast and salt and then stir in olive oil and water to make dough.
Knead for 10-15 minutes.
Make into balls and sprinkle with maldon salt and allow to prove for 45 minutes.
Bake at 200C for 15-20 minutes.
Drizzle with olive oil once taken out and still warm and allow to cool.
