This 4-step crunchy granola breakfast recipe is great for all those who love to start the day in style. Mix this super simple granola on the weekend, and store for a delicious, healthy and quick breakfast bowl for your before-work rush throughout the week!

Crunchy Granola Recipe

Ingredients

500g oats
100g  each of:
Wheatgerm
Bran
Sesame Seeds
Pumpkin Seeds
Flaked Almonds
Oatmeal
Coconut Shreds
Un-roasted Cashew Nuts
Hazelnuts
200ml Sunflower Oil
200ml Honey

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 160C.
Mix together dry ingredients in a large roasting dish
In a pan, warm the oil, sugar, and honey together over a low heat.
Once warm and melted, pour the mixture over the dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly.
Place in the oven for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.Remove from the oven and stir the mixture as it cools. Store in an airtight container.

Can be heated with milk to make muesli porridge. Or simply with a splash of cold milk for a super fast start to the day!
