Well, it’s that time again….another member of The Avenue Family is celebrating their birthday and this time it’s the turn of our much loved and much valued office extraordinaire Niv!! 🥳 

It would be bad of us to break our tradition of asking silly questions on birthday’s…. so we haven’t…

We hope you enjoy reading all about our 6ft 2in, Israeli, Virgo and we’re sure by the end you’ll feel like you know him that bit more.

Hello Niv 👋, we’re going to dive right in….If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and how would you use it in your daily life?
“I would love to not require sleep at all 😴. Although I enjoy sleeping-in immensely (and having gone for 2 kids under 2 is proving to work against that enjoyment) I think that the benefit of gaining back those sleep hours and spending them doing something else would be super effective and having all that extra time would make a huge difference to anyone’s life.” – We’ve thought about this one and we think you could be onto something here Niv…lot’s of extra time to focusing on The Avenue’s Cooking Classes!! 😂

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done, and what’s still on your bucket list🪣?
“Sophie and I are big fans of travelling and have done so extensively🌍. I think maybe the most adventurous time we had was when we bought 2 motorcycles 🏍️ in Vietnam and travelled the country with no concrete plans.  Doing that with our family is on the bucket list, I’m hoping to do some sort of camping and travelling combination so maybe kayaking/🏇 riding during the morning hours 🌅 and then setting up camp after 🏕️.” – Wow, you two certainly sound like an adventurous duo…maybe next one can be the full Avenue clan!?

If you could travel back in time and meet any historical figure, who would it be, and what would you ask them?
“I think I would love to meet Leonardo Da Vinci and undoubtedly, I would have asked for a portrait in hope of gaining the same immortality the Mona Lisa has.” – Another great answer…you could also sell it and become super rich! 🤑😂

What’s your all-time favourite 📚 book, 📽️ movie, or 📺 TV show that you could watch or read over and over again?
“I actually try and avoid watching or reading the same thing over and over but my all-time favourite movie is American History X – it’s a heavy movie but I think it’s fantastic.” – A belter of a choice 👏

If you were stranded on a desert island 🏝️, what three things would you want to have with you?
“Assuming we’re looking for practical stuff rather than comfort then I’ll have to choose a 🧨 lighter, a fishing net 🎣 and a knife🔪. If we’re seeking comfort then I would love to have my family, a kindle and a smartphone with unlimited data and reception.” – Ever the practical one, that’s Virgos for you!!

How will you be spending your birthday this year?
“We have a 2.5 week family vacation to Portugal planned for the 14th which will be a great way of celebrating. I think on the night I will have a spoiling dinner out with Sophie ” – Hmmmm, sounds perfect 💯 and hopefully delicious 🫠

What’s the most memorable birthday you’ve ever had, and what made it so special?
“I have to be honest, Sophie is amazing in organising get aways for my birthday ✈️ and has managed to surprise me about 5 years running so this is a great place, in front of all our readers, to say thank you and tell her I love her 😍🫶!  The most memorable one I think was Iceland 🇮🇸 as it was very unique and we had great quality time escape prior to kids.” – Awww, we all need a Sophie in our lives (brownie points Sophie!)

If you could learn a new skill instantly, what would it be, and how would you use it to impress your friends?
“I’m absolutely terrible when it comes to drawing/ painting 🎨 and anything artistic in general 👨🏼‍🎨🚫, it would be really nice to be able to send friends a personalised painting I’ve made for their birthdays which they would actually hang. Currently I don’t think my stick men will do… “- We’re starting to feel like Sophie may be getting the short end of the stick (no pun intended) if all she’s getting for her birthday is a stick man drawing 🤣

What’s one thing people don’t know about you that would surprise them?
“That I used to sell women’s hair products and I’m actually really good with styling hair with straighteners/ curling irons 😂. I actually did Sophie’s hair for the first time, for a wedding we went to last year” – Niv, I think you may be every woman’s dream 💭😻

Imagine you could invite three famous people (dead or alive) to your birthday party. Who would they be, and what do you think the party would be like?
“I think this would be a great opportunity to invite multiple members of the 2️⃣7️⃣ club to the same party. I would choose Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse. I have a feeling that a house party with this sort of crowd will turn messy pretty quickly but hopefully very musical at the same time…🤪🪩🎉” – Well, that sounds like the perfect place to conclude the questions…what an unforgettable birthday party that would be!!
