Mash Potato
(Serves 6)

8 large maris piper potatoes
a very large knob of butter
cream, heated


Add the potatoes to a saucepan of salted water and with the lid on bring to the boil.  When boiling reduce to a simmer and cook until potatoes are very soft.

Remove from the heat, mash and add the butter and cream until desired consistency. Season generously and add more butter if needed.
