Walked past it many times before eventually taking the plunge! Proof that curiosity doesn’t kill the cat but rather rewards it with delicious food…

How long have you been joining classes? 
Since 2024. Once you start, it’s hard to stop…

Which classes have you done?
Fish Class, Mexican Street Food, Peruvian Class and Knife Skills Class  A pretty elite line-up if you ask us

What was your favourite class at The Avenue?
I’d have to say the Fish Class and the Peruvian Class

What’s your favourite dish to cook that you learnt with us?
On the Fish Class we learned Crispy Skin Sea Bass & Scallops on a Pea Puree which was delicious. Then on the Peruvian Class I loved the Ceviche

What was your favourite dish to eat at The Avenue?
The Crispy Sea Bass on the bed of Ratatouille from the Knife Skills Class

What is the most obscure thing you have made in the kitchen?
Whole Suckling Pig on the BBQ Rotisserie. Casual. Absolutely no notes

What class would you like to do in the future?
Hmm the Japanese or Argentinian.

Any final comments?
I’ve really enjoyed every course I have done and better than that, the clients I took also really enjoyed it and my 20 year old son loved it also. Would recommend to anyone and i’m just looking for reasons to do the next one! Will do one with my wife in the new year (already bought the gift token as a stocking filler!) and hopefully do another bigger client gig next year too!

Thanks for cooking with us, Michael! From mastering fish to tackling a whole suckling pig, Michael is a true Avenue Amigo. We can’t wait to see what he cooks up next – Japanese precision or Argentinian fire, perhaps?
