This Pitta Bread Recipe is the best means of transporting any dip to your gob 😂! Don’t say no, give it a go.

(Makes 6-8)

Ingredients:

250g strong plain flour
1tsp salt
sachet dried yeast
160ml warm water
2tsp olive oil

Method:

Heat oven to 220C.

Mix the flour, salt and yeast in a large bowl. Add the olive oil and approximately half the water.

Start to mix and add enough of the remaining water to achieve a soft dough. Knead the dough for 10 minutes then return to the mixing bowl, cover and leave until doubled in size.

Tip the dough onto a clean, floured surface and knead for a minute. Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces, roll each into a rough oval around 6mm thick.

Bake directly on the oven rack for 5-10 minutes until puffed and golden.
