We have really missed our kitchens being full and we are delighted to be able to welcome you back safely to our school. With restrictions, including capacity limits, social distancing rules and mask wearing, being lifted as of Monday 19th July we are going to be running pretty much as we were pre-COVID times! 🎉😷However!, we are still doing everything necessary to be smart and safe about it, and we are ensuring our students are doing the same. Therefore we are adhering to some new safety procedures.

Questions & Answers regarding how we are running in these new times:

How will your classes and courses run if I book as an individual? During your time with us you may be partnered with other participants.
Please note that this will be automatic, however, should you be uncomfortable with this please do get in touch before booking to let us know and we can see if it is possible to accommodate you on your own.

If I attend a 1 or 2-week course will I have to take a test? You will be asked to take a lateral flow test either at a community testing centre or at home within 48 hours of attending your course with us.

What if I need to cancel my place on a public class or 1 & 2-week course due to COVID? Our strict cancellation terms still apply unless you have our Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover (see below).

How does the Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover work for my class booking? Due to the current times we have introduced an Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover insurance policy to allow us to be as flexible as possible.
The Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover policy is a 20% additional cost of the value of your booking, that will need to be paid for in full before our 2-week cancellation period is active. This will cover any COVID relevant cancellation requests made up to 24 hours before your class begins and will only be valid with proof of a COVID positive test or proof of an NHS Track & Trace isolation request.
Should you want to sign up to our Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover you can do this on our website by searching your respective class page here, select the option on the dropdown menu and add to your basket before checking out. Remember to apply insurance for each person booked.

What happens if another student tests positive while I am on one of your 1 or 2-week courses? We will tell you who the student is so that you can assess your contact with them.
If you have worked on a table or come in close contact with them you will need to take a lateral flow test as a precaution and share a negative result before returning to our kitchens.
We will try to contact those people who have worked on a table with the student directly.

Will I be able to transfer the remainder of my course if I test positive to COVID mid-way through one of your 1 & 2 week courses? If you have taken out our Avenue COVID Cancellation Cover (see details above) and have proof of testing positive for COVID we can move you to another course, date agreed at our discretion.
