Meet Charles & Louisa, September 2024 Amigos of The Month! That’s right, not one but TWO little chefs siblings have made the cut this month. Read all about their time with us here…

How did you hear about The Avenue?
“Mum told us about it and we were really keen to learn some new skills and to have a day filled with yummy food too” Well done Mum – we hope you get a chance to put your feet up and enjoy some you time

How long have you been joining classes?
“A few years now, on the Young Holiday Classes during school holidays”

Which menus have you done?
“Katsu Curry, Leek and Bacon Risotto, Pasta Pesto (from scratch!) and Spaghetti Bolognaise” Definitely a few of our favourites there – plenty more available so keep it up and you’ll be teaching Gordon Ramsay in no time!

What was your favourite day at The Avenue?
“All of them – too hard to choose!! Maybe the day we got given the wooden spoon for being the tidiest cooks!” Well done ! We hope you thank your Mum by applying the clean cooking at home too! 

What’s your favourite dish to cook that you learnt with us?
“Pasta, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Katsu Curry.  We now make Pasta all the time and it’s actually really easy and so much tastier than boxed dried pasta!” We couldn’t agree more!

What was your favourite dish to eat at The Avenue?
“All the delicious cakes that you make as an extra each time” Who can resist an elevenses before a day of cooking! We got your back

What is the most obscure thing you have made in the kitchen?
“Well Dad went on a Sushi Workshop with you guys so now at home we make Sushi with dad” Yes Dad! Great we are having the pleasure of teaching the whole family! Maybe you will all come and join one of our classes for the whole family soon…

What menu would you like to do in the future?
“Chicken Pie and Christmas Crackers” Both menus coming up this December on our Young Holiday Classes so hope to see you there!

Any final comments?
“We can now cook at home and love cooking dinner for Mum and Dad.  The photo is us making Risotto for them and then trifle”
