With Summer just around the corner, make the most of the evening sunshine with this delicious tuna with soy lime dressing recipe! This blend of flavours produces the perfect dressing to accompany the fresh tuna.
Ingredients:
25g vermicelli noodles
Oil, enough for deep frying
140g tuna, thinly sliced
Pickled radish:
1 dsp sugar
1 dsp white wine vinegar
2 radish’s, cut into thin round slices
Soy lime dressing:
1 lime, juiced
1 tbs mirin
1 tbs orange juice
¼ tsp sesame oil
1 tbs soy sauce
Garnish:
½ red chilli, finely chopped
Handful coriander leaves, chopped
1 spring onion, thinly sliced
Method:
Mix the sugar with the vinegar and put the sliced radish into it to soak!
For the dressing, mix all the ingredients together and season with salt and spoon it over the sliced tuna.
Deep fry the noodles, press them until fully submerged in oil till puffed up.
Arrange the slices of tuna on the plate, leaving a space in the middle for the noodles.
Mix the red chilli and coriander and spring onion and sprinkle over the top Place 1 pickled radish disc onto each piece of tuna. Pile the crispy noodles in the middle and serve.
