Welcome back to our weekly shenanigans!

We don’t know about you, but we are still on such a high from the re-launch party last week! We loved having you all so much, that there have been whispers along the grapevine about us making it a yearly thing… watch this space!

Since we last spoke, life at The Avenue has almost returned to normal, but not quite… After weeks of preparation for the party last week, we are not quite ready to hang up our event planner hats just yet, luckily for you! Keep reading to find out what delightful treat we have in store for you this week.

*SPOILER*

It’s a goodun!

Anyhoo, back to last week. The kitchen was surprisingly easy to clear up considering it held over 200 people, all drinking wine and having a merry old time! For this, the hungover Avenue team were eternally grateful! It also meant that the wine was going to good use (being drunk) as opposed to making a detour to the floor, which is an added bonus! Congratulations on being able to hold your alcohol everyone! The Avenue are proud of you!

Once the kitchen was back into sparkling tip top condition, we reopened our doors for a kids birthday party! Brenna and her extremely excited party guests arrived, desperate to find out what delicious goodies they will be learning to cook. And I have to say, we didn’t disappoint. Banana cake (check), Carrot Cake (check) and beautifully iced cupcakes? (check). That’s it, I’m having an Avenue party for my next birthday!

After Brenna and her pals had eaten themselves silly with cake and we had handed the party back to their parents, we held another of our immensely popular Kids Weekend Classes. Knife skills and Ballotine of Chicken with a Reduction… just a walk in the park for the kids on our Weekend Class!

Tuesday saw a slight change of scene for Sophie and her team. As the kitchen was being privately hired for a couple of days, we decided to pack up our bags and spend the day working in the City, which was an adventure, but we would rather be back in our kitchen any day! There is just no place like home (The Avenue). However, we were back in kitchen that evening for a delightfully delicious Macaron Masterclass. Endless nibbles and more macarons than you can count? Sounds like a successful evening to us! We do love a good macaron at The Avenue!

Wednesday marked the second day of kitchen hire and an Easy Entertaining Class in the evening. We love these Easy Entertaining Classes, as no-one can quite believe that such delicious and beautifully presented dishes, are so simple to make! There is nothing better than knowing that you have a wow factor recipe that can be rustled up in a jiffy, while everyone else thinks that you have been slaving for hours in the kitchen. That my friends, is why we love our Easy Entertaining Class.

Now. For the moment you have all been waiting for. We are delighted to announce…(Drum roll please)… our fantastic, fabulous and quite frankly outstanding BLACK FRIDAY SALE!!
