Ahoy there! We are setting our sights on the open seas in this fun, intensive 2 week-long Yacht Host Course. Learn everything that you need to know about hosting on private yachts, all with The Avenue flair!

Accommodation is an optional extra, available in friendly local family run B&B’s. Breakfast included and supper on class days.

Are you studying for a Duke of Edinburgh Award and need to learn to cook? Well then you are in luck!
We are a DofE AAP (Approved Activity Provider) who hold a 5-day Gold Residential Course, with cooking in the days followed by group evening activities this is perfect for those wanting to complete their award while learning an invaluable life skill in a fun environment!

4 nights accommodation – £305 (included in the prices)
5 nights (Sunday – Friday) accommodation – £355 (included in the prices)
Additional nights can be added if needed

Kids Cooking Club

Our fun-filled Kids Cooking Club Classes are a fantastic way to learn a variety of new culinary skills and easy recipes to make from home! These short but sweet classes are also perfect for those needing to complete their skill section for their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver or Gold.

Ages 8-16 years and parents also welcome to book if they would like to see/join their kids in action! – everyone in the kitchen needs to have their own individual spot booked.
Kids under 8 will need to be booked with a paying adult unless the child is 6 or 7 and, as a parent, you feel they are comfortable/confident in the kitchen without having 1:1 assistance while being around sharp knives and hot appliances etc.

Chalet Host Cooking Course, 2 week

Our Basic to Brilliant Cooking Course does exactly what it says on the tin. Taking you from the very basics in the first week, which is our Really Useful Course/Off to Uni Course, to bloomin’ brilliant in the second week, which is our Intermediate Cookery Course.
