50ml Tequila
25ml Blue Curaçao
25ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
splash of sugar syrup (optional)
Maldon salt, for the rim


Put some salt on a plate and having rubbed the edge of a margarita glass with lime, roll the glass through the salt to give you the classic margarita salty rim.

Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake well.

When the cocktail is well shaken and cold, strain the mix into the salted glass and serve.

N.B. Can also be served on the rocks in a tumbler for a lighter drink.
