Ingredients
85g soft brown sugar
55g butter
3 tbs cream
Maldon salt
Optional
10g chopped nuts, e.g pecans, hazelnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

In a saucepan, melt the butter, sugar and double cream together and simmer until the sugar has dissolved.
Optional; add nuts to the caramel, or add 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Add salt to taste.
