15g butter
200g sugar
6 peaches, cut in half and stoned
juice of 1⁄2 a lemon
juice of 1⁄2 an orange
100ml beer


Place the butter and sugar in a pan until they’ve melted together to form a caramel.

Add the peaches to the pan, cut-side down and cook for about 5 minutes.

Turn the peaches over, add the beer, lemon and orange juice to the pan, then cook for a further 2 minutes until the fruit has softened.

They are also extra delicious topped with walnuts and vanilla ice cream!
