These delicious Christmas cookies are beautifully sweet and will melt in your mouth. So easy to make, and perfect for baking with the kids over the Christmas holidays. Decorate with snowflakes, or get creative with whatever you like! Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

Christmas Cookie Recipe

Makes approximately 30 cookies

Ingredients:

115g  sugar
115g  Butter
1dsp golden syrup
170g self-raising flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Icing sugar and water  to decorate

Method:

Pre-heat your oven to 160C.

Cream the butter, sugar and golden syrup together with a spooon.

Add the flour and the bicarbonate of soda and mix it all together into a dough.

Roll the mixture into small balls.

Place on baking sheet.

Bake for around 15 minutes, or until golden brown and smelling divine!

Leave to cool on a cooling rack, before decorating with icing.
