(Makes a large flan tin)

Pastry Ingredients 

120g butter, COLD and cubed
150g plain flour
25g icing sugar

Filling 

3-4 tbsp Jam

Method 

Pre-heat the oven to 190C / 375F / Gas 5.

Put all the pastry ingredients into a processor and pulse until just mixed.

Chill before rolling. Roll and line a large flan dish (20cm X 20cm) and chill again before cooking.

Add the jam to your lined flan dish.

To use any leftover pastry add a design to the top of your tart (lattice works well).

Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
