Ingredients:
(Makes 8 burger buns)
200ml milk
2 sachet yeast
500g strong flour
60g unsalted butter
40g sugar
10g salt
2 eggs
Method:
Preheat the oven to 190C.
Warm the milk.
Mix all the dry ingredients, rub in the butter until mixed and then add the eggs and milk.
Remove from the bowl and knead the dough until silky, stretchy and smooth.
Put the dough back in the bowl and cover with a plate or a shower cap and put into a 50C oven for 45 minutes until doubled in size.
Knockdown and knead into a log and divide into 8 equal sections. Roll each section into a ball and cup the dough underneath until perfectly round.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
