After an Avenue family holiday to Sri Lanka, we were delighted by the delicious food we were greeted with. Being the foodie lovers and sharers that we are, we thought we just had to create a class including some of our favourite dishes. so here we bring to you our Sri Lankan Cooking Class!

If you love Sri Lankan food or perhaps you aren’t sure you have ever tried Sri Lankan food but love the deep rich flavours of South Asia, which we know so many of you do, you are sure to be amazed with this menu!

Our Sri Lankan Class will teach you how to make 6 dishes including 3 wondrous accompaniments; sweet onion relish which locals call Lunu Sambal, a fresh and minty Raita and a Coconut Sambal. The more substantial dishes of the menu will be a delicious authentic Cashew Curry, a Dhal Curry, and Roti – we guarantee you will leave wholly satisfied, including on the wine front as, for those that want, it is bottomless wine from start to finish.

You will start your class with a demonstration explaining to you each dish and supplying you with the know-how of making these delicious dishes. Having absorbed the information you need, you will get cooking yourselves, whipping up the flavourful menu that you will get to enjoy at the end of the class.

Catered for allergies: Suitable for those keeping to a Vegetarian diet. We can cater for those keeping to a GF diet on request however there will be no alternative provided for the Roti. We can cater for those keeping to a Vegan diet on request, however there will be no alternative provided for the Raita.
